Kari Erickson

Sculptural bead work is my true passion; I focus on originality & creativity with each piece I make. Woven off the loom, using the ancient art of peyote bead work, inspired by nature. Combining various techniques I have learned including bead weaving, silver work, lamp work beads, stained glass, fused glass & fibers, this gives each piece a distinct individuality and uniqueness of its own.

Since I was a young girl I loved creating with my hands, as I grew, so did my imagination. I continue to study the tradition of my crafts to grow as an artist, capturing the spiritual expressions within me.
